Wanderings is really what Susie and I have been doing the past several years. In our travels we've learned to truly "see" our world as well as capture the beauty with our cameras ... to observe lighting, colors, textures and composition. We've spent many days with cameras in hand just looking for that special moment when all the right elements come together ... and when it does its magic! The "Western Wanderings" site was created to share with you those special moments.

 Digital photography is amazing. Being the engineer I've migrated toward using some of the newer photo technologies such as multiple-photo, stitched images to create landscape panoramas and high-dynamic-range photography to capture a greater range of photo information to make a more detailed presentation.  Susie, the teacher, on the other hand strived to bring out the beauty of what mother nature has to offer in her own way.  I think you'll find her motional abstract photography outstanding and very unique! And I would be remiss if I didn't mention my wonderful brother, Rick, who accompanied us on many of our wanderings and is a fine photographer in his own right.
